ER PINTO

Er Pinto born in Rome, he is an author, writer and poet. He has published two books “Il Peso delle Cose” (2017) and “Mal di Mare” (2020) and founded his own independent publishing house “Sine Luna Editrice”. He writes his lyrics online and in the form of “Street Poetry” on the walls of the city. Until 2022 he used a pseudonym to keep his true identity secret and free himself from the image to propose his true essence, the most internal one.

Er Pinto is one of the greatest exponents of Italian street poetry. Since 2010, his writings on the walls have attracted the attention of the press and passers-by and after being photographed they often go viral on the main social networks. His style of "Street Poetry" has become a source of stylistic, formal and thematic inspiration for what we could define as an incoming generation of Roman street poets and beyond.

In 2017 he also began another artistic journey based on poetry, calligraphy and illustration in collaboration with Yest. The duo signs themselves Point Eyes, a semi-anagram of Pinto and Yest.
