Mehari

Mehari is a project conceived by Luca Cafasso (outta “Fronte Afrocumbiero Partenopeo”), which stems from the cultural need to give back centrality to music, to make sure that it no longer surrounds people’s daily lives, a bit like the coffee. It is from a specific blend of a well-known and traditional Neapolitan brand that his musical project takes its name and inspiration, which concerns the research and collection of all the African and southern sounds of the equator that have influenced and given birth to many other genres.

His set is an intertwining of cultures that goes from blackest Africa to South America up to Naples to enjoy a good coffee.
