João Rapozo, born in Porto, Portugal, where he studied design and multimedia. A transversal visual artist who loves to integrate different techniques into his works, from graphic design to illustration, from scenic video to light design, from painting to music. He has collaborated with various dance and theater companies and participated in numerous collective exhibitions, artistic residences and audiovisual performances in Portugal, Austria, Bulgaria, Mozambique and Italy. Since 2007 he has also started experimenting with ceramics through painting on the typical Portuguese “azulejos”.
Its trait characterizes and distinguishes it, giving its works an apparent simplicity behind which multiple levels of reading are hidden.
