Giovanni Anastasia lives and works in Naples, a versatile artist who deals with illustration, painting, sculpture and graphics.
A historical member of the “PalomArt” network, he has collaborated with it since his inception by participating in numerous editions of the PalomArt Festival and in the exhibitions “Mundo Latino” (2015), “The Change” (2016), and “Fauna” (2018) in his first solo show at the Bellini Theater in Naples.
His research, in painting as in sculpture, is increasingly directed towards a delicacy of forms. The protagonists, who come from the human or animal world, often have their eyes half-closed, and present themselves in a veiled introspection. These elements, often combined with untitled works, leave the observer the opportunity to interpret and decode what they are observing.
