Built in 1356 by Ruggero II of the Counts of Celano, the tower can be easily reached on foot along the roads that radiate out from the centre of the village towards the summit, offering a splendid view of the entire Fucino plain and the villages dotted around the former lake.
The Torre delle Stelle is a project that began in 2001. The ancient medieval tower, after careful renovation, has been used as an astronomical observatory, Moon and Space Room, Planetarium and Astrolabe Room.
A series of rooms where you can spend hours of absolute interest and enjoy experiences of great scientific value.
