The seventh edition of the Borgo Universo festival was the culmination of a work of rediscovery and a new opportunity to tell, with the tools of art and science, the history of a country and its its transformation.

In addition to the three new walls of Laika, Vhils and Palval, the days of the festival were animated by many protagonists, guests, events and visitors.

The center of this edition was Filippo Angelitti, the astronomer from Aiello who, despite leaving his country to study in Naples and then direct the astronomical observatory of Palermo, later gave life to this which is today Borgo Universo. The rediscovery of his story and the reconstruction of a profile of him made us experience a new bond between Aielli and Palermo. The Tower of the Stars and the astronomical observatory of Palermo have in fact created an exhibition and several meetings dedicated to him, bringing out the most human aspects, the passions, the visions, the love for the poetry of the sky and words, which links Angelitti to the great poet, Dante, and his celestial journey.

Thematic walks among the murals of Aielli, photographic and naturalistic excursions, cultural events, outdoor activities for adults and children and workshops of art and physics in the cellars and on the streets of the town enriched the three days of the festival.

Finally, three evenings full of music filled the atmosphere starting on Friday with a review of the most energetic and promising young artists from Abruzzo, from the notes of Ruben Coco to the tight verses and pungent young trappers. Saturday moved on the electro-swing atmospheres of the French artist ProleteR and the ironic and romantic voice of Legno. Sunday evening closed the festival with the warm, enveloping and crackling rhythm of Tullio De Piscopo.
